iLink provides financial aid officers with a single point of contact for electronic loan processing and transmissions, electronic corrections and Web-based reports.
iLink supports schools with time-saving benefits, including the:
- Ability to route private loan data.
- Capability to exchange data with schools' financial aid management (FAM) system.
- Opportunity to choose between flexible file-routing options that enable financial aid officers to receive incoming files how and when they wish.
- Option to choose from several file-bundle options.
- Ability to aggregate Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions for participating lenders.
Bundle Options
Schools may select to receive files bundled as:
- Pass-thru.
- Bundle with no late files.
- Bundle with late files.
School officials may also choose different bundling options for Response Files and Disbursement Files.
Online Tools
iSBS
iSBS is iLink's Web-based student loan processing component. It can be used to view iLink loan reports as well as process:
- School certification requests.
- Change transactions.
- Bulk disbursement date and hold/release changes.

iLinkSBS is a website that lets financial aid officers access reports most often viewed on a daily basis. It returns daily reports more quickly and allows the iSBS system to run more efficiently.
Like iSBS, iLinkSBS offers:
- Multiple grouping options.
- Expanded batch ID reporting.
- An easy-to-read format.

Centralized Disbursement System
The iLink centralized disbursement system (CDS) aggregates disbursement and return of funds monetary transactions for all of a school's participating lenders. CDS offers:
- Two return of funds methods — Automated Clearing House (ACH) and auto debit.
- Online reporting to confirm refunds are processed properly.
- A daily reconciliation process to ensure money movement occurs.
